Why I
photograph.

I've been taking photographs on and off for years. During a difficult stretch with depression, I picked my camera back up. Photography gave me a reason to slow down, get out into the world, and start appreciating the things I'd been overlooking.

The name comes from my love of my Irish heritage. Taibhse is Irish for “ghost,” and 404 means “not found.” Together, they're a little nod to Salem, where people come looking for ghosts and usually don't find them. But there's still plenty worth seeing out in the world.

Taibhse404 is where I share the world through my lens.

My wife has been beside me through it all. Her unconditional support, patience, and love drive me to keep growing and to be better, both as a photographer and as a person.
